Filtration of Sub-Micron Particles

As part of the Filter Holdings innovative series of specialty fabrics for filtration of sub-micron dust streams at high temperatures, Microfiber Aramids, Golden Hawk and Golden Hawk with A/R finish are specialty fabrics engineered for continuous operation at 400°F with sub-micron particle filtration capability.

These high temperature filter fabrics are engineered to optimally perform under high temperature conditions while offering excellent sub-micron filtration effectiveness, making them an ideal choice for efficient filtration of sub-micron particles in cement, aggregate and asphalt dust streams and other processing operations where sub-micron filtration in high temperatures is required.

Microfiber Aramids

Microfiber Aramid felts feature an outer layer of fine fibers interlocked over standard size fibers. The fine fibers produce a smooth surface with exceptionally small pores that can retain particles on the surface and prevent blinding or bleed through, with no loss of throughput.

Golden Hawk

Golden Hawk is engineered to combine the benefits of fine fibers and heavy duty construction in a cost effective package. Available as a 16 oz optimized blend, it offers superior retention and longer service life at a price minimally above standard grade 14 oz Aramid.

Golden Hawk with A/R Finish

The combination of acid resistant and Oleophobic finishes applied to the heavy duty Golden Hawk structure give it dual protection against acids produced from sulfur and unburned hydrocarbons in lower grade fuels. An optimal choice when acids or unburned hydrocarbons are present.

High Temperature / Sub-Micron Filtration Fabrics

Two of our high temperature filter fabrics offer dual protection with the option to add an acid-resistant (A/R) / Oleophobic finish to resist acid and blinding by unburned hydrocarbons.
