High Temperature Fabrics
Filtration of Sub-Micron Dust Streams
The aging of quarries, along with the addition of modern crushing equipment, has led to the appearance of sub-micron particles in cement, aggregate and asphalt dust streams. The typical Aramid felt used in pulse jet baghouses cannot generally handle particles below two microns, regardless of the fabric weight.
Innovative High Temperature Fabrics
In response, Filter Holdings has developed an innovative series of high temperature fabrics suitable for filtration of sub-micron dust streams such as those in cement, aggregate and asphalt processing operations. These fabrics are engineered for operation at 400°F and offer a continuum of higher efficiencies along with greater abrasion resistance, and exceptional retention.
